Hi took a look at another new technology for Network Layer Detection and Inspection today called ****. The technology was based around an appliance approach, although other formats will be available. It seemed to have several key factors but highest on the list was true wire speed analysis and it's 10G capabilities. So it's combining the functionality for security to protect against Malware and other threats with Data Centre capable speeds. It seems like if it's good old fashioned muscle you require this could be the ticket!
It's worth noting other products in the same space could scale with multiple boxes and good design/architecture - and you'd still want EPP and EDR in my opinion.
